In our fourth part, we examine the fallout of a failed enlightenment. How the search for truth turned us towards the natural world, and how the earliest scientists believed they could better understand the God of the universe through studying His creation. For us today, we may ask, “Do faith and science truly contradict?” What lesson can we find from those common men who came before us and the passages they turned to in their examination of the World?

The splintering of the church didn’t just shake Christianity, it shook the Western world. One of the most pivotal upturns was around the idea of truth. This week, we will look at how enlightenment shaped our understanding of truth to the modern day and what we as Christians can stand upon in a world of pluralism and “my truths.”

Join us as we look at how the reformation helped define what it means to be a Christian and the Bible verses that inspired the young monk.

The world is changing – from music and stylings to liturgy – the Church has changed as well. However, it has always had at its core the timeless, unchanging truth of the Gospel. Reformanda aims to look at the questions the church wrestled with as it went forward and how the timeless truth of God interacts with the everchanging world.

As we draw 2025 to a close we hope you will come together and pray these things with us that we may be faithful and effective ambassadors for the Gospel. A prayer for wisdom, a prayer for a united heart, and a prayer to be filled with the Spirit.
