As we draw 2025 to a close we hope you will come together and pray these things with us that we may be faithful and effective ambassadors for the Gospel. A prayer for wisdom, a prayer for a united heart, and a prayer to be filled with the Spirit.

Luke’s Nativity scene brings together timeless truths of hope, faith, and God’s deliverance. And centers it all on the birth of Christ. Join us as we celebrate The Birth of our Saviour.

The birth of John the Baptist is a beautiful part of Luke’s gospel. Zechariah’s prayer highlights the beauty of God’s deliverance and the promise of his salvation, as well as the band of blessing that would be on John’s life. This Sunday we’ll dive into this prayer and look at a message of hope for the church today.

Mary’s prayer is a beautiful reminder of the wedding between God’s power and his goodness. The way he uses the least of us and lifts up the brokenhearted; the way he meets with those in need and gives mercy to those who fear him shines through Mary’s song.

Gabriel‘s visit to Mary stands in parallel to his words with Zechariah. Both are messages, divinely given, that highlight the coming of the Messiah. Zechariah‘s disbelief stands in sharp contrast to Mary’s faithful obedience. This Sunday we will look at how Luke uses these two stories to help us wrestle with how we grow in our faith.

Luke opens his gospel, not with the birth of Christ, but with a relatively unknown priest, chosen by God to play a special role in the coming of the Messiah. Join us as we take a look at the faith of Zechariah and the way Luke uses it to encourage believers today.
