Pastor Jon and his wife, Myka, first met in Waco, Texas, and were married in 2009 shortly after Jon returned from a year of ministry in Thailand. Their family quickly grew with the arrival of their son, Grayson, in 2010, and their daughter, Reese, in 2013. Outside of ministry, their family loves to get away to the beach or the mountains.
Jon holds an M.Div. from Truett Seminary in Waco and a Ph.D. from Trinity in Chicago. Since 2009, he and Myka have served in four different churches across Texas, Illinois, and Georgia. In November of 2023, they felt God’s call to step away from their home church to plant a new church to continue serving together and making disciples.
